Apple Donor Campaign

Apple Donor

Hawkes are a new breed of urban cider maker. Their mission is to change the face of cider forever, one apple, one orchard at a time.

Their journey began using unloved apples and those donated by Londoners to create their first bottle of Urban Orchard cider.

With their #Apple Donor campaign, you can help them make a difference by fighting food waste, promoting sustainability and becoming part of their Urban Orchard Cider.

Every #Apple Donor gets one bottle of Urban Orchard cider for every 3kg donated, 10% off for life at Hawkes Cidery & Taproom and the priceless feeling of being a Grade A #Apple Donor.

There are three ways to donate your unwanted apples.

  • Visit the Hawkes Cidery and Taproom ‐ drop your apples with them and redeem your Urban Orchard cider in its natural home.
  • Drop your apples off at your local pub ‐ check their website to find your local participating pub or community scheme.
  • Apple donor weekend ‐ Saturday 30 September to Sunday 1 October. A festival of cider celebrations at pubs and local community projects all over London.
