Exploring Hackney Marshes

On 23 October 2022 a collaboration took place between Go Parks London, The Campaign for The Protection of Rural England (London Branch), The East London Garden Society and The Great Eastern Parks Route when we came together to explore The Hackney Marshes.

Tim, being a magnificent leader of the group and having a vast knowledge of The Hackney Marshes, delighted us with his wisdom on all aspects from the politics of the marshes to the biodiversity, which is so needed in London.

Hackney Marshes is an area which is good for play, and includes football pitches, an area for foraging, an area to be at one with nature in your own private spot, and an area to look at the wonderment of how all types of nature has matured in the urban London environment.

The film Exploring Hackney Marshes is a must for those who believe that certain areas in London need to exist, as well as being protected.
