The Limehouse Triangle

We are always challenging what effect local authorities have on areas within their remit in respect of the climate.

In the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the council had the wisdom to invest in an area for nature but then to destroy it since they considered development was for more important.

The Limehouse Triangle is an important area since it brings respite to the residents. However, it now seems that initial investment by Tower Hamlets Council was wasted.

Join the fight to reclaim the Limehouse Triangle by signing the Petition.

Tower Hamlets Council have cleared this nature reserve which was an area of special scientific interest. It was not meant to happen until September 2020 in readiness for development, but the community has been ignored.

Should our environment be protected from developers and the council? We have to decide whether our gardens, green open spaces and parks are worth protecting? What’s your view?
